Why did Nitsana Darshan Leitner start Shurat HaDin?

Nitsana Darshan Leitner is an Israeli lawyer and civil rights activist who has dedicated her life to spearheading legal battles against terrorist organizations and seeking justice for terror victims in Israel and across the world. She always felt that she wanted to do something of value and corporate law wasn’t fulfilling enough as per her aspirations. So, she started Shurat HaDin - Israel Law Center (ILC) in 2002-2003 with the aim to combat terror financing and safeguarding Jewish rights. 

Shurat HaDin is dedicated to protecting the Jewish state and fighting against Israel’s enemies on the legal front. Nitsana Dashan Leitner, who is a mother of six and married to Aviel Leitner, is an American-born university lecturer and lawyer. She has represented a lot of terror victims in lawsuits against terror organizations, sponsoring states of terrorism, and financial institutions such as banks that facilitate the financial requirements of terrorists. Shurat HaDin has also led many campaigns against the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement), which was started by Israel’s enemy states to weaken and isolate the State of Israel. Darshan-Leitner actively opposes anti-Semitism and challenges those who want to accuse Israel of war crimes to fulfill their own hidden agendas and spreading hate towards the Jewish state.  

Shurat HaDin works in collaboration with the Israeli intelligence agency, law enforcement, and the Western intelligence department to fight terrorism and protect Jewish rights globally. Currently, Shurat HaDin is representing hundreds of terror victims in lawsuits that are still waiting for justice to be served. Darshan Leitner actively works on everything from collecting evidence and translations to working with victims to ensure they get the justice they deserve. Today, Shurat HaDin has successfully secured many legal victories and become international experts on litigating terror via attacking the oxygen of terrorists - Money.
